The Aussies are superior not because they are more talented but because they are more committed. The Aussies did not have players with a clutch of world records under their belts but they had plenty of match-winners and honest triers. Everyone gave their 110%. They have players who are hungry to perform. Which is why players like Bollinger grab the first chance that comes their way because they know the next might never come. Who would have thought that an unknown player like Clint McKay would come up trumps in the key moments of the Hyderabad match getting the better of Tendulkar? The series is a tribute to Oz bench strength.

Most certainly...the Aussies have it all - both mental and physical strenght. Plus a lot of grit even though their team is plagued with injuries. Team India is a lacklustre team captained by wicket-keeper batsman that just doesnt think outside the box unlike his counterpart...keeps floundering by falling flat on the face. Making the same blunders in team selection with a set of players that tumble after fairly good starts - its either poor bowling, batting, fielding or running between the wickets that costs them games. "Consistency in good performance is just a virtue" ... be it Yuvraj, Gambhir, Dhoni, Kohli, and for that matter even Tendulkar. Look at the Aussies -- players like Ponting, Watson, Hussey, Cameron White have all contributed in every other game. The bowlers have done their job well too. As far as the Indian bowlers - except for Nehra, Praveen and the "in-experienced" odd one - Jadeja....the rest have been pathetic. Senior spinner like that Harbhajan has been no less than a liability on home ground and Ishant Sharma gets four games in a row inspite having been in poor form for months at a stretch. The Indian think-thank continues to have faith in this unlethal menace who often gives away runs as though they were festive candies. "Home Advantage" is totally irrevelant. Poor captaincy has surely costed the Indian team -- winning an odd toss and not electing to bat, restrict the opposition to a score 250 and yet unable to chase, on a batting pitch like the one in the fifith ODI (hyd) ...drop Ishant for Munaf when the batting could been strenghtened - by either taking chances on Kohli, Tyagi or Dinesh Karthik (they probably continue to warm the benches for the next two games too). Above all, failing to use common sense and unable to judge singles while running between wickets. In all probability, the series result would be a 5-2. Dhoni states, "we look to make a fresh start"....I'd say how about, "we cant do with 11 players ...need another handful to beat a depleted Aussie team". HATS OFF TO THE AUSSIES...THEY DO DESERVE TO WIN, INDIA GOT NO CHANCE TO SALVAGE THIS !!!

Australia is the best One Day Team at present, India will be next but have to patience when they get pressure they should not take pressure while the matc was looking under their team, have to play patiencely like Great Sachin Tendulkar.

Australia will definitely look to take the series from India because they are very much determined to outclass Indians in all the areas. Our Indian Players do not focus on the game but they look to advertisements, endorsements, etc., to rope in quick bucks. It was very evident when they chased Australia's 250 runs in Delhi and also in Baroda and handed the win to Australians. For Indians, if they win one match and loose 10 others it does not matter but for Australians they would like to win all the games. This Australians who are currently touring India is a depleted side without inform bowlers, still they tamed Indians in their homeland and targetted all the so-called strong batting line up. Gambhir, Yuvaraj and Dhoni should sit in the pavilion for some matches and bring in fresh youngsters, who are already performing in IPL and inject them into the team, who I am confident would fairly better than the so called strong batters. They should take a leaf out of Australia's team and take decisions accordingly.

I'm still optimistic, India still can win. But what is Sehwag and Gambhir doing, now that 5 games were played they havnt even scored a good score, Yuvraj had a half century and that is enough for him to carry him through the series, thats always the case, y waste our time for this team. Who is virad kohli, he has nt played a good game, yet, are there no other good players in india, there is a lot to learn from sachin to play consistently through all these years, all are getting crores so they dont bother about their game. V should really appreciate sachin for his commitment after all these years, he is great human being.

TeamIndia has got coaches with extreme nature. While Greg Chappell was too strict, Gary seems to keep the players in comfort zones. If I am not mistaken, India won the Tri-Series in Australia, under Lalchand Rajput.Rajput knows very well how to bring the best out of the talented Indian players.Even Ishant Sharma seemed to be one of the best in WorldCricket. The Fielding too was worldclass. Now, the fielding looks ClubLevel inspite of a SouthAfrican Coach.BCCI must invest the money, spent on Gary & company, to improve the Infrastructure of IndianCricket ie; inclusive domestic cricket. The Australian DomesticCricket is far better than Indian DomesticCricket, the ChampionsLeagueT20 result proves it.So, I suggest that Lalchand Rajput must REPLACE Gary as the coach of TeamIndia. Thanks & Regard, Sekhar Gogoi
