India heading toward the No. 1 Test spot?

INDIA, SHOULD HAVE NO.1 BECAUSE INDIA BEAT AUSTRALIA, ENGLAND, PKISTAN, OTHER TEAMS ALSO......... ALL THE BEST OF LUCK INDIA CRICKET TEAM FUTURE TEST MATCHES, ONE DAYS.........

Yes, Team India can become numero Uno; but this cannot be achieved unless we all can cooperate!!! Yes, what you are reading is true. Unless we as citizens of this dear motherland do not critize the team when it falters and instead encourage and cheer them upfront (just like we do to our children each time they lose), then we have every chance that Team India will be Numero Uno shortly. Dont write off anyone in this team; each are playing their roles expected of them. Dont blame a batsman for failure, instead look at his other abilities like team pep talk, motivating team members on field, his fileding/bowling capabilities etc.

Not yet ,but it is a too early now. India has to be consistent in winning matches abroad. They just lost a series in Sri Lanka and won against AUS ,ENG in India.India has to maintain a winning streak to be no1. Australia who is currently no 1 , their dominance was not just based on 1 series or against 1 country . They won most of the series everywhere in the world.

Sure, we are. 2009's World number one is India.........

Neither me nor my fellow Indians dont have any doubt in this. The way in which the attitude shown by our players are quite remarkable. Especially in front of the media the day's start player are modestly owing the success to their fellow mate who played equally very much for their win. This is a very good positive attitude for teams success. All the very best to make a clean test sweap against England and continue this pride even on foreign soil.

Chuck De India India is much capable to be at the No.1 Spot. This young lads are much aggrivated and couragious to do it. Hats off to "The cool and silent killing instinct of Capt Dhoni and his Boys" "Lagee Rahoo" India..............................

There is no doubt that with the way India is playing under the able leadership fo MS, India will achieve the no. 1 slot in Test cricket. However, as of now the consistency is from Shewag, Ghambir, Tendulkar and the lower half. The middle order has to be more consistent to enable Team India to achieve this goal. The bowlers are doing a remarkable job and inshallah they will continue to do so. Glenn

We are certainly heading for No.2 spot. We need to perform more consistently abroad to be the number one in world. This team has the capability, attitude and potential to reach the summit.

Under Dhoni's Aggressive leadership, India will achieve the No one Test spot in coming days. Sehwag, Sachin, Harbhajan and Zaheer has to play a major role and others has to perform more consistenly in achieving the target. good luck Team India

   Rajesh Thirupathi

Absolutely right. The day will coming very soon.

India is the numero uno team now

   Jaivijay

Not yet. Still this team need to achieve a lot. This win might be a step in that direction. But to become something like what Aussies achieved under Steve Waugh, Indian players need to play more consistent and agressive. They should try to focus more on their basics. Remember this team don't have a good spinner who can run through the side. Still the batting depends more on Sachin, eventhough others are rolling. So dependencies on key players should move out. Enough bench strength need to be created. And finally India need to show their strength in foreign soil more, in countries like Australia, England, NZ and SA. Thanks, K.Vidhyasagar

Team India is the perfect definition and example for the term "TEAM" under Dhoni every individual has found comfort and space to perform and its a joy to be witness to the rise of the new Numero Uno... Sachin the GOD, Sehwag the Tormentor, Yuvraj the Run Machine, Dhoni Captain Marvel, Bhajji the turbanator... Man o man as I said every individual is a jewel... Keep Gng Team India... FATEH HO...

   Amit Relan

I DON'T THINK INDIA IS NUMERO UNO TEAM AT THE MOMENT SINCE INDIA STILL HAVE TO WIN ON FOREIGN SOIL PARTICULARLY AGAINST SOUTH AFRICA, NEW ZEALAND AT THEIR OWN BACKYARD THEN THIS CAN BE SAID THAT INDIA IS A NUMBER ONE TEAM.

   KUMAR SAURAV

TEAM-Together Eachone Achieves More Sehwag & Gambhir Tendulkar & Yuvraj Zahir Khan & Ishant Sharma Bhajji & Amit mishra Dhoni & Bhajji Each of the Team member is raring to go & deliver What a Team effort & what a finish. squads
England's recent form in one-dayers has been striking after they trounced South Africa 4-0 at home. The return of Andrew Flintoff and Steve Harmison has been vital, but England will need their entire side firing if they are to get the better of India on their home turf.
