Shabaash Team India. You've done it. And you have, a leader in form of Dhoni, under which you hve the capacity to make it 7-0. And be no.one in both one-day & test rankings very soon. It's time we focussed more on consistency of teamwork and not individual brilliance like in the past. Time to give break to some and try out some new talent in the remaining matches to discover some more reserves and bench strength for future.

Indians had their nerves when Flintoff and Shah hammering the ball to all sides of the field. But it was Zaheer & our Captain who came spendidly to stop the flow and clinch the series. Hearty Congrads Team India

For the past decade or so there has been anticipation of when and who will displace the Australians from the mantle of 'Best Team'. There have been many challangers but it seems the world now has a befitting answer in the current Indian squad. Whatever you call it - the Midas touch of MSD or coincidence of everything falling into place at the right time, theres no doubt that Indians are on a roll. And how?? Barring the blips in Kitply and Asia Cups they've outperformed the opposition all thru '08. Defeating Aussies on their home soil, then sending them empty handed from India with a 2-0 Test series win, beating the Lankans 4-1 and now gaining an unassailable (& unbelievable!) 4-0 lead in the ODI series against a trotting English side. They've shown immaculate execution of strategies over a sustained period of time in both forms of the game. And that too not through the individual brilliance of the Tendulkars and the Gangulys, not thru the bowling prowess of the Kumbles and the Khans, not even thru the unyielding determination of the Dravids and the Laxmans, but thru Team Work -the single most important factor that the Best Teams should possess. That team spirit is visible. So is the fun, excitement, confidence, determination and an urge to outperform the opposition on field. And the players' positive body language says the rest. No doubt the spark of the late '90s and early '00s is on fire now. The new KINGs of cricket... keep it burning!!!

England's recent form in one-dayers has been striking after they trounced South Africa 4-0 at home. The return of Andrew Flintoff and Steve Harmison has been vital, but England will need their entire side firing if they are to get the better of India on their home turf.
