  Profile

The Gaddafi Stadium would host the first ever Asia Cup tie in Pakistan. This venue has been an international fixture since 1959, when it first hosted Australia in a Test. The ground saw major renovation in 1995 before it successfully staged the 1996 World Cup final. The ground has seen Inzamam-ul Haq’s epic 329 against New Zealand in 2003 and Yuvraj Singh’s maiden Test hundred in a losing cause in 2004.
