CRICKETNDTV.com - Asia Cup 2008
SQUADS
Pakistan

Given how explosive they’ve always been, it’s a surprise Pakistan have won the Asia Cup just once in seven attempts. Consistency is not something you attribute to the Pakistanis, but for once, they have momentum on their side – the Kitply Cup win over India, and the 12-match winning streak before it, would make them feel better than India.

They have players in great form – most notably, Sohail Tanvir with the ball, and it seems Shahid Afridi is one good innings away from finding his batting form. At home, it might just happen in the Asia Cup.

Squad:

Shoaib Malik (C), Misbah-ul-Haq (VC), Fawad Alam, Rao Iftikhar Anjum, Mansoor Amjad, Mohammad Yousuf, Nasir Jamshed, Saeed Ajmal, Salman Butt, Sarfraz Ahmed (WK), Shahid Afridi, Sohail Tanvir, Umar Gul, Wahab Riaz, Younis Khan.
