CRICKETNDTV.com - Asia Cup 2008
SQUADS
Hong Kong

This is just the second ODI tournament for Hong Kong. They had debuted in the 2004 Asia Cup, and were walloped twice – by 116 runs against Bangladesh, and by 173 runs against Pakistan. Their team, like the UAE’s, is primarily made of expats – eight Pakistanis, and one each from India, Australia and South Africa.

Captain Tabarak Dar is from Pakistan. The side has a collective ODI experience of eight matches. India and Pakistan should not have problems brushing Hong Kong aside in their Group B games.

Squad:

Tabarak Dar (C), Afzaal Haider, Ashish Gadhia, James Atkinson (WK), Toby Brown, Hussain Butt, Irfan Ahmed, Courtney Kruger, Roy Lamsam, Munir Dar, Nadeem Ahmed, Najeeb Amar, Skhawat Ali, Waqas Barkat (WK), Zain Abbas.
